Geert Van Goethem new secretary general of IALHI
 Prof. Dr. Geert Van Goethem, director of Amsab-ISH, has been elected as the new secretary general of the International Association of Labour History Institutions (IALHI). He will be leading the international umbrella association for a period of five years.
Amsab-ISH member of European Labour History Network
 On 12 October 2013, the European Labour History Network (ELHN) was established during a meeting at the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam. Amsab-ISH was one of the participants, and took up a seat in the network's Coordination Committee.

The Camille Huysmans Archives
Amsab-ISH reached a loan agreement with the Antwerp City Council over the Camille Huysmans Archives in 2009. Until recently they were stored at the AMVC-Letterenhuis, but we have transferred them to our Antwerp department.

The National Archive of Georgia sent us a short film about the trip which Camille Huysmans made to Georgia in 1920, as a member of an international delegation. It is the oldest film excerpt in our collection.
